Slowly but Surely: A WIP

So what have I been up to in the long absence of this blog? A number of things. But to start off, there's been a project I have been working on for quite some time. Given the restrictions on time that I have due to work, friends, family and my mood/energy on certain days, this has dragged on for quite awhile. But sooner or later, I will get this done and printed in all its' glory. My personal project as of late consists of a deck of cards, with each individual card uniquely illustrated based on its' number and suit.

The theme is based on the video game Borderlands by Gearbox and 2K. I chose this specific game because upon playing it for the first time, I was intrigued by the art style they used, and thoroughly enjoyed the humour that has been placed throughout the missions and environments in the game.

I do not own Borderlands so this is clearly out of my own personal experimentation, fulfillment and sense of challenge.
