Slowly but Surely: A WIP

Saturday 14 December 2013

So what have I been up to in the long absence of this blog? A number of things. But to start off, there's been a project I have been working on for quite some time. Given the restrictions on time that I have due to work, friends, family and my mood/energy on certain days, this has dragged on for quite awhile. But sooner or later, I will get this done and printed in all its' glory. My personal project as of late consists of a deck of cards, with each individual card uniquely illustrated based on its' number and suit.

The theme is based on the video game Borderlands by Gearbox and 2K. I chose this specific game because upon playing it for the first time, I was intrigued by the art style they used, and thoroughly enjoyed the humour that has been placed throughout the missions and environments in the game.

I do not own Borderlands so this is clearly out of my own personal experimentation, fulfillment and sense of challenge.

Oh Hey...

Currently in the progress of changing my blog layout and actually getting back to this whole blogging thing. Man I gotta actually step up my game... But at least there's some development so far :P

I'm back!

It's been a long year and a bit since I've posted on my blog, and I feel that since school is over, I have no excuses of ditching this little spot on the interwebs, especially when I have a new purpose for it.

I guess this will still be a lifestyle blog (sort of), but it would also help motivate me to actually get around to making/completing the DIYs that I've always wanted to do. I don't know if I'll be able to concoct my own original DIYs for eager crafters out there someday, but for now, I will post my "responses" to the tutorials I've been oogling at and so forth.

So stay tuned!

Change is imminent. I promise :)
